Each year, YouTube releases the top trends and moments of the year through a digital trend report. They challenged us to figure out how to reach digital creators in real life.

ADVOC8 brought the trend report to life through an immersive, physical experience, which highlighted top creator content and served as a destination for creators to gather, celebrate, and be inspired.

The Event Branding

Animated screens, physical signs, and an interactive playbook were branded with core shapes and colors pulled from YouTube’s vast parent brand identity.

We concepted and designed 8 interactive, instagram-worthy activations that filled the venue.

The details.

  • I worked alongside a fellow art director, creative director, and 3D renderer to concept and sketch out creative installation ideas. I art directed and designed a visual identity for the event and worked with a designer to build out all print and digital signage throughout the event. I propped installations, styled them on-site and checked in on vendor fabrication to make sure the vision was coming to life as intended.

    I presented ideas and problem solved with the client directly on calls. When the CD was out of office, I took over her responsibilities and kept her updated daily on project progress.
